On tap at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger, as Aass Dobbelbock. Dark brown colour, minimal head. Strong aroma of caramel and dark syrup, hints of bakery and salt of hartshorn. Fairly light bodied and easy drinking for its considerable strength, medium sweet, again distinct notes of caramel and dark syrup, hints of Danish pastry and brown bread, very moderate hops. A nice doppelbock.
