Keg at the brewpub. Pours deep ruby brown, nose is roasted, grassy, malty, taste is similar, bit of liquorice. 7

--Keg at Crow Bar, Oslo. -- Dark brown, small head. Mild chocolate and tobacco up front. Mid sweet with light body and clean mouthfeel. Licorice and toast. Mid bitter finish.

From tap at Crowbar & Bryggeri, Oslo, with AL 18.05.22. Almost ebony. Beige head. Aroma and taste of roasted malt, bark, coffee, tobacco and soft hop bitterness.

On tap at the brewpub. Has a dark brown to black colour with a small beige head. Aroma of dark chocolate, roasted malt, rye bread and ash. The flavour mirrors the aroma and is a little dry. Has a slick mouth feel, light to medium body and a light bitterness. Roasted and nice.

Draught at the source: pours dark brown with an offwhite head. Aroma is dark chocolate and mellow roast. Taste is lightly bitter, bittersweet chocolate. Mellow finish. Simple but good.
