A collaboration with Bexar County Brewery that has flown out from the brewery. A treat of a low ABV beer with the right amount of lemon tartness and fruitiness, met with subtle sweet biscuit malt notes and creamy lactose. All the delicious components of a lemon meringue pie served up in a refreshing beer.

Keg at BD Clerko, 11/02/16. Very lightly hazed golden orange with a decent off white covering. Nose is lemon sponge, light spice, sorachi, biscuit, straw, pissy twang. Taste comprises lemon cream biscuit, sorachi overtones, spice, faint mint leaf, grassy, herbal notes, mineral bite. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a skunky sorachi wash. Decent enough sorachi affair plenty of depth to the flavour for the ABV.

Keg at BD Clerko. It pours cloudy bright gold with a medium white head. The nose is sweet, oily, big sweet, stinky sorachi, fennel, sweet lemon, biscuit, fennel, menthol and aniseed. The taste is bitter - sweet, lemon meringue, biscuit, big stinky sorachi vibe, fennel, sugared lemon, earth, straw, herbal with a dry, herbal finish. Light - medium body and fine carbonation. Wow. Too much sorachi for a charlatan like myself. Probably a well - made beer, but I dislike sorachi...
