Can. It’s a clear one, golden in color and with a small, off-white head. Rather malty aroma, with some fruity notes. A faint touch of alcohol. The flavor is pretty similar, with pale malts, alcohol, fruityness and some bitterness. Full-bodied and warming, soft carbonation. Fruity and lighlty bitter finish with some boozy hints. Far from the worst malt liquor I’ve had, but it’s definitely not intersting. 130216

Nice clear golden coloured body with a thinnish slightly off-white head that dies very quickly. Aroma of metal, apricots, strong malt, alcohol and yes - more metal. Medium-bodied; Strong malt presence with a bit of alcohol, some light apricot and peach flavours and a lot more metal and cardboardie malt. Aftertaste has alcohol, but not overly so. More malt and metal, but once again, not horrible. Overall, according to the rankings I was expecting much worse, but wasn’t so bad, and to be perfectly honest, the 8.8% abv was pretty well hidden. I sampled this 323 mL (odd size) can, purchased from 7-11 (yes, they have them everywhere) in Singaore, Singapore 25-August-2007, sampled at home in Washington on 09-March-2009, while this batch (according to the bottom of the can) was brewed on 01-August-2007.
