Winternest is a dark Scotch Ale with a soft peaty aroma.
Aromas of toasted malt and hazelnuts give way to a pleasant smokiness. The peated scent reborn in the mouth stimulating even the most placid of spirits. Definitely convivial, but perfect to accompany of a good book.

Dark nut brown with a medium solid head. Aroma of sugar and fruit. Flavour is treacle malt, milk chocolate, sweet back on a dry bitter finish. Draught at Rise Up Bergamo.

bottiglia 33 cl, schiuma beige fine media persistenza, color marrone/mogano intenso, al naso subito l’affumicato poi malto tostato zucchero di canna, in bocca ancora affumicato malto tostato caldarroste zucchero abbrustolito, carbonazione moderata, corpo medio/leggero, alcool un po' troppo in evidenza, amaro moderato. 33cl bottle. Dark deep ebony color, kinda clear, short tan head. Smell malty and toasted. Flavor of toasted malts, maybe oats, earth, peat, nuts, charcoal. Some grass and lime notes in the aftertaste as hops contribution. Taste is malty, juicy, light smoked. Soft carbonation, solid body. Texture is thick, oily, heavy. Finish oily, slick, flavored. Alcohol is moderate, but is there. I'm not in the style but seems pretty solid.

Tap at BeerAttraction 2019, Rimini, Italy. Pours practically black, with a small cream head. Aroma is delicate roasted. Body is average, with good carbonation, maybe excessive. Taste is moderately bitter. Finish is average.

Draft @ Mercati della terra, Bologna - L’Ortica location, weekly Saturday market at Cinema Lumière. Brune foncée, col épais crémeux moka. Arôme est malté agréable, note légère de fumé et fruité sec rappelant le raisin. Palais est malté, caramel et grillé, léger pâle, sèche avec un profil fruité noir plaisant. Amertume modéré, fini sucré léger raisin. Seul bémol reste un houblonné bien présent qui parvient à ressortir malgré la bonne présence des malts. Reste solide.
