Bottle at Van Moll, Eindhoven. Aroma is herbal with green tea, grassy herbs, nettles, yeast, mild soapy notes, freshly mowed grass, peppery with mint. Flavour is mild sweet and fairly bitter. Body is medium. Weird and interesting, strong herbal/tea, surpising.

From backlog, 750mL bottle drunk mid-2010's (2015? 2016?, something like that). Well, obviously the color is the stand out here. Matcha or sencha powder really doing the trick. Still manages a green/gold-tinted head, too, though it's maybe a bit more short-lived on account of the tea. In the nose there is a more nutty, earthy character than expected, instead of the expected tannin and floral character (though a bit of that, as well). Good malt backbone contributing honey and white bread. Moderate amount of fruity, peppery yeast. Clean, plentiful tea. In the mouth there's a bit of bitterness/acidity/tannin from the tea, as one would imagine. Nutty, earthy notes abound, working well with the saison yeast, which adds its own plaster/must character, as well as quite a bit of black pepper. Novel, but also perfectly competent and pretty well-done saison. Not sure that the tea really elevates, but it's not unwelcome.

Ha ha what funny. Hazy, muddy golden-green color whit a tan-yellowish head. Fruity, funky with a touch of kiwi and ice-menthol. Nice body with a nice hoppy finish

75cl bottle from Rob the Gourmets’ Market in Brussels. F: big, white, almost good retention. C: green, hazy. A: malty, spicy, herbal, marijuana touch, orange peels. T: medium to full malty base, herbal, dry fruity, nettle tea, bit orange, higher carbonation, quite nice, fully enjoyed.

Tap at Orti Giuli di Pinta, in Pesaro, Italy. Pours hazy GREEN with limited foam. Aroma is tea and vegetables. Very particular. Body is just a bit dense with moderate carbonation. Taste is moderately bitter. Finish is short.

Bottle. Big citrus aroma, lime. Taste is similar, lime, not much hint of the green tea which is a bonus for me as I don't like it. Nice. Bit soapy, bit sour.

Green tea and florals. Pours straight eery green like fake St. Paddy's day beers. Big head of foam with good lacing. I've finally had a Flavored - other. Mystical experience. But ya, green tea just adds an interesting element in a beer that should probably just be a Belgian pale. Bitter tea end and florals sweetness. Tap at Sovereign.

Pours hazy greenish colour. Large white frothy head. Aroma: spicy Belgian hop and yeast, green tea, perfumey notes. Medium body. Taste: dry, spicy, perfumey, Belgian yeast, green tea. Decent bitterness. Somewhat astringent. A very unusual ale. Strange but very interesting.
