It is a beer with a great character. Strong and determined in taste, and scintillatingly amber in color, it is so limpid it recalls chestnut honey. It can quench thirst because of its fresh hop notes. Our Calumet beer winks even from the glass and it provokes feelings through perfumes of caramel and chestnut honey. What changes it all is the sweet taste of caramel, soon supplanted by a clearly citrusy taste, having grapefruit at its center. Upon the end of the sip, this beer gives its great finale: a resinous taste due to the hops used.

Can from friend, many thanks. AMber golden color with medium white head. Aroma of caramel and bready malt, citrus hops. Taste starts malty, followed by moderate citrus hops, zesty, light grapefruit. Medium long citrus hoppy bitternes. Easy drinkable beer.

33 cl bottle @ OPP. Batch #25-26/2014, BBE 06.06.2015. Aroma is sweet with fruity tones, hops and some apricot. Feels a bit sugary. Flavour has apricot, sugary sweet tones, malt, some caramel and toffee. Also some spices. Feels belgian at all its sweetness; too sweet for my taste.

(Bottle, 0.33 l - BB 06.06.2015, at One Pint Pub, 20140920) The beer poured amber and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness, citricness and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, grass, malts, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy and bitter. A clean and nice APA but too thin.

Bouteille 33cl @ Il Pretesto, grazie a te Giorgio. BB 29-11-2014, lotto# 45-46/2013. Note pas vraiment le côte du miel.
