33 cl bottle @ home. Bottled 12.03.2013, BBE 12.03.2016
Aroma is sweetish with cocoa notes and coffee. Flavour has salty licorice, soy sauce, herbal notes, coffee, tobacco and ash. Finishes with more herbs that turn into lingering bitterness. Rather good for a foreign stout.

Looks like my rating no. 5,000 came under the tracks at the Partizan brewery, with Neil, Mike, and Karim. 17 August 2013. Bottle. Salty, soy, coffee nose. Black with a nice, fine head. Creamy, sweet flavor, cola and soy sauce, nice and full-on, coffee, umami. Meaty. Nice.

Aroma: Burnt toast, charcoal, dark chocolate, liquorice, plum and salted caramel.

Appearance: Black body with a thin beige head. Light lacing marks.

Taste: Similar to the aroma but with more coffee and a blackcurrant finish. Very bitter and roasted with virtually no hint of the high alcohol content.

Palate: Medium body with an oily mouthfeel. Soft carbonation prickle.

Overall: A lovely, roasted Foreign Stout. This bottle was 8.7% ABV.

Small beige head quickly disappears. Opaque black body. Roasty licorice aroma with spicy milky earthy notes. Dry-sweet chocolatey licorice and wood taste with earthy spicy notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft, smooth mouthfeel. Dryish chocolatey spicy wooden aftertaste with roasted rice and grain notes. Lovely, delicate, vivid, highly drinkable. (0.33l bottle, from House of Trembling Madness, York.)
