American Pale Ale
Soulful, all-American Comet, Cascade and Centennial hops harmonize with silky smooth malt in this citrusy, full-bodied and balanced pale ale. Dale’s was packaged in a crushable, portable, recyclable can in 2002, making it the Original Craft Beer in a Can.

Orange, leicht gelbe Farbe mit weißer Schaumkrone. Malziger, fruchtiger, hopfiger Geruch.

Keg at the Salisbury Arms in Winchmore Hill. This is an ESB, not a pale ale. As an ESB it is good, with a rich sweet taste, a long flavour and a nice malty mouthfeel. That richness was evident (alongside the alcohol) and there is no way we could do more than one pint during the session.

Can. Despite being 6 months out of date, this beer kept up pretty well. Some old dry hops sticking to the palate but it isn't too musty and is overall a fine beer. Rerated. Tap at Bishops Arms Östersund. 3.4 to 3.5. Balances the malts and hops quite nicely

Can from Tesco, Aldershot. Resin and pine aroma, almost herbal. But low key. Dark amber. Hazy. Bubbly white head, which fades. Medium bitter. However this is kinda short lived. Hoppy, but not real impact to it. Light bodied. A slickness. Fizzy carb. Low key finish. Just generally low key. It's nice enough but a pretty boring representation of the style from a US brewery.

355ml can into schooner glass. Brewed in Austin, Texas. Golden toffee-coloured beer with towering white head. Nose of sweet malt, fruit and grassy woodlands. Flat mouthfeel, dry fruit bitterness. Finish is earthy and dry with late pepper. Nice beer.
