Pours clear pale reddish pink color with no head. Aromas of strawberry and honey. Slightly tart strawberry flavor with some sweet honey and a hint of alcohol. Medium bod with no carbonation. Decent.

Sample at the Memorial Day Deck Beers tasting on 05/27/2013: Thanks to JaBier for sharing. Pours a clear pale golden color with no head and decent legs. Aroma of strawberries and yeast. Medium body with a syrupy strawberry flavor along with a touch of vanilla. The finish is sweet with a berry aftertaste. Decent overall.

Colorado mead tasting 2012 - clear apple juice color - pretty mellow nose - mostly strawberry, but it almost smells artificial, like strawberry syrup - I also swear I smell some lightly plasticy phenols way in the back - flavor is much sweeter than the aroma suggests, but has a decent acidity to balance - tastes like a medium sweet white wine - a bit of spice and alcohol warmth through the middle and finish - strawberry is subtle in the beer, and in the finish, it tastes more like tart cranberry - subtle flavor, but nice - much better than the nose suggests.

2012 Colorado Mead Tasting at Armin’s house. Pours a clear, light pink appearance with no head. Super rich, seedy, strawberry jam aroma that smells very delicious. Somewhat sweet, strawberry shortcake, light pear, sweet dessert flavor. Kind of a cool mead.

375 mL bottle from Oak Tree Buy Rite. Pours a clear copper color with no head and very fine floating particles. Aroma of strawberries, strawberry candy, honey and faint lime and herbal notes. The taste is sweet and tart strawberries, honey, earthy notes, faint herbal and butterscotch. Medium-full bodied and a bit boozy. Solid mead.

Clear pink-orange body, no head. Nose of strawberries and honey, sweet with warming alcohol notes. Sweet, fruity body nicely cleaned up by warming alcohol notes in the finish, substantial but not syrupy or cloying.

bouteille @ OTH. couleur est cuivrée, plate. Arôme est voluptueux de fraises, avec des notes de florales. En se réchauffant l’hydromel gagne bien ce cote un peu terre que l’on ressent avec les fraises. Goût, fraise, miel, palais est mi-sucré si on le compare a ses camardes polonais. Le palais est visqueux, qcq épices et une forte présence de fraises tout en conservant cette balance avec le miel. Vraiment bien réalisé. Cet hydromel se laisse déguster, savoureux, épais.
