Sampled from the tap at the 15th annual MBGSF. Pours a hazy amber orange with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has light fruit with a decent amount of tartness with a bit of yeast and a barrel backing. Flavor is slightly bitter upfront with hops but is mainly lightly tart with a bit of a barrel and grain backing.

Dog Days of Summer Gathering thanks GOT. handbottled. golden-orange pour, thin white head. nose keeps a moderate wood approach along with hops and some tropical fruits, tangy orange. wood profile is mild. light citrus, honey sweetness, prickly/spiced mouthfeel along with some tropical fruits. Palate keeps a nice dry-hopped profile although the overall aspect along with the barrel aging made made for a low carbonation with mostly wood barrel and prickly mouthfeel coming through. Barrel aging works well on this one.

From a keg at the RBSG Grand Tasting. Pours a hazy peach color with a minimal head. Fruity and floral aroma with a light tartness, citrus and earthy notes. The taste is citrus, stone fruits, caramel and a faint tartness. Medium bodied.

tap at the brewery (beer hunters please note: my notes are months old) - Pours hazy coper color with light carbonation. The aroma is mild Belgian yeast and hops. The flavor is definitely hops led with some citrus and a long, lingering bitterness. Whatever Brett is there is very subdued. Tasty.
