Bottle from Au Grain d’Orge, Crissier
Hazy amber color; no head; the head retention is really a problem for Trois Dames. Some aroma of yeast, light hop. Light malt and caramel flavor, with light sweetness, low bitterness, very light hop qualities, and very light liquorice touch. Very simple Ale, disappointing.

Bottled (BB 04/2009) Golden color, big cloudy white head, some lace. Citrusy, grapefruity aroma. Flavor is also grapefruity with citrusy, fruity hops. Dry aftertaste. Sample could be more fresh, but this brew has pontential. Quite American.

Bottled (thanks Bov!). Hazy orange colour, mediumsized white foamy head. Aroma is fruity and earthy with some slight notes of grassyness also. Flavour is fruits, grass and quite earthy. A rather pleasant.

A golden ale with a very thin white head. A wonderful classy c-hops aroma with light citrus. In mouth, a light bready malt, with light restrained hops, very nicely done. Tasted at Mondiale 2007.

Bottled, thanks Bov! Hazy bronze colour, creamy head. Freshly hoppy nose with orange hay and sweat. The hop aroma is carried over into the flavour, meetinr little resistance from the fragile very light body. Finishes with long hop bitter finish.
