Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a vivid orange-amber with a small orange-white head. The aroma was sweet, tangy, very malty and strongly vegetal. The flavor was strongly nutty, fruity and vegetal with a long finish. The mouthfeel was thick and rich. Well made, but not my style.

12 oz bottle. Pours a copper color with a relatively small white head. Aroma is malts. Heavy malts, like "malted milkshake malts." Many probably wouldn’t find this appealing, but I loved it. An interesting change of pace from the heavily hopped beers I’ve been consuming as of late.

Bottle: Golden copper pour with a nice, creamy beige colored head. Aroma is ripe pitted fruits, malty, and toffee. Sweet, but neither overly fruity or overly malty. Deep malty taste does get sweet in the flavor. Honey and florals with sweeter fruit and malt. Again, some toffee. Good.

Pours hazy caramel color with off white head. Sweet toasted caramel malt aroma. Caramel flavor with some nuttiness and mild hop bitterness. Medium body with soft carbonation and a syrupy mouthfeel.

12oz bottle-pours a rich off white head with trailing lace and abler color. Aroma is nice, sweet medium malt-caramel, fruit. Taste is sweet medium malt-caramel, fruit, secondary hops-mostly herbal, slight alcohol.

Pour is a hazy copper with a large white head. Aroma is caramel, bready and a nice helping of malts. Flavor is more malty than anything but some caramel and toffee come out. Finish is thick with some noticable alcohol. Still this is fairly decent with low bitterness and a nice malty backbone.

Slightly musty olfactory on the lid pop but in the glass its aroma is more strong and volatile. Looks orange brown and has a head that is thin and foamy and lasts. intense strong malty alky presence on the palate. Some carbonation and there could be more. taste bud impact is quite bitter, more than I like for a bock but how can you hide 7%? Not disappointing on the alky taste attributes, you really know this is a high alky content, not well hidden, its in yer face. Finish is lingering bitter candy. Probably would not buy again, a little too much for this lager lover. Dizzying effect near the end of the session.

Clearish coppery body, thick, puffy cream head, pillowy, leaving sheets of lacing on the glass. Toasty nose, sweet and caramely, with brown sugar and earthy hops. Slight metallic notes are also present. Round, bready body with caramels and a hint of raisin, leafy hops, and light alcohol. Average beer that meets expectations in a difficult-to-master style.

Very clear copper body with a small white head. Heavy caramel aroma with light toastiness. Heavy caramel and toasty flavor with light molassas and a sticky bready finish. Almost a doppelbock. Medium full body with moderate carbonation and a sweet syrupy finish.

Golden-amber colour. Big caramel and fresh bread nose with just a hint of toastiness and alcohol. Full and firm, with ample toasty components. Starts well, but fades in the finish...it dries out, bringing some graininess to the fore, with lots of drying alcohol at the end.
