100% BRETT FERMENTED.
Technically, this is neither an ale nor a lager. The base recipe is for a Golden Ale, but we do the primary fermentation with 100% brettanomyces. The brett gives it some sour notes but not as much as if it had been aged with lacto and pedio. It’s rather refreshing on a warm day!

Bottle shared by Kai. Thanks buddy! Pours light hazy yellow with a small white head. Aromas of brett, oaky, floral, sweet grapey notes, citrussy. Taste is bretty as, grapey, oaky, subtle banana-like sweetness, floral, mellow citrussy notes. Clean and smooth.

Corked bottle, batch #5. Blonde. Lemon, grapes and leather in the aroma. Sour flavor with lemon and leather. Notes of cellary and onions. Oak. Bitter walnuts. Comparable with a good geuze.

Draught at the Brewery, almost no head, clear pale yellow color, aroma of apple and leather and a hint of minerals in the back, aplle spicy flavor with hints of funk, rubber and dairy, light sourness. Very good and enjoyable.

Fresh tangerine, strong grapefruit bretta. Pours golden orange with ok head and lacing. Sharp snappy finish. Very lambic feel here - comes together very well. Bottle in Philly.

This bear was made with great care. No lacto aroma like a sour. Very malty with some saltiness. A Belgian golden that has been left in the sun.

On tap at the brewery. Pours gold. Funk, white wine, nectarine, pineapple, unripe pineapple, complex barnyard. Full body with decent carbonation. Excellent.

Bottle @ Home. Pours slightly hazy yellow with a fading white head. Aroma of malt, yeast, brett, leather, fruit, grapes, mild citrus. Flavor is light sour, malt, yeasty, bretty, light tart fruity, grapes, citrus, lemonpeel. Medium body, average carbonation, dry and light acidic finish. 180818
