Bottle at the brewpub. Pours near black with a thin light brown head that starts and remains at the edges. Aroma has an interesting dark gain note with a good amount of oak and just a hint of earthy peppers. Flavor is very rich with dark grains and rye with that works well with the french oak note.

RBWG’10 pours dark brown, tan head aroma, roasted malts, some chocolate, dark fruits, light barrel flavors, roasted malts, warming abv with some bitter hops, light fruit tartness and dark fruits remain more present. french oak top everything. nicely without overpowering the whole palate.
