Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel as well as a lighter note of alcohol. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and straw.

Bottle 35,5 cl. Courtesy of sincereNC. Clear pale amber with a rough off-white head. Sweet malty nose, a very clean maltiness. Medium body, intensely malty sweet but never sticky. A little flowery hops but hardly any bitterness. Nice and close to style. 150311

pours amber, off-white head aroma is hoppy, some spices and malts. flavor, caramel malts followed by thin bitter hop profile.Overall finish retains a good amount of sweet caramel, light spices also noted for some bitterness. Enjoyed this one a lot, more on the sweet side and not so much of the over hoppy seasonals out there.

12 ounce bottle from Whole Foods Market, Cary, NC. Pours a hazy orange color with a thin creamy white head. Poor head retention and decent lacing. Aroma of lightly toasted malts, nuts, caramel and faint apricot and other fruits. Taste is lightly toasted grain, floral and fruity notes including notes of plum and peach, some nutty notes and a leafy hoppiness. Medium bodied.

12oz bottle-pours a thin white head and gold color. Aroma is grainy/bready, some spice hops, yeast. Taste is sweet grain, secondary spice/metallic hops that seems out of place and clashes. Thanks decaturstevo for picking this out.

Sampled at the Knoxville 2008 Brewer’s Jam. Deep copper with a small fleeting head. Not much aroma here. Just not much flavor either - nothing good, nothing bad. Disappointing.
