Bottle. Pours with a large off-white head over a clear golden body. Very nice lace. Aroma is hoppy with citrus, a bit herbal and light tea and caramel notes. Light hint of fruit from the hops as well. Taste is bitter, with a bit of hay and caramel. Kind of thin feeling for the ABV. Flowery, citrus and light exotic fruit hop flavors that blend well. Lowish residual sugars, dryish, medium to lively bubbles, but a bit thin for the ABV, but fine for the style. Decent, but as far as pale ales go the New DogTown might be better for the style.

This beer is a clear golden-orange color with a medium white head that recedes steadily. Rings of lacing on the glass. Pine and citrusy hops aroma with caramel malt undertones. Medium body with a fairly bitter hops flavor that is piney and citrusy. Sweet biscuity malt is present as well. The finish is crisp and hoppy with a grapefruit aftertaste. Solid APA all around.

Pour is a golden/orange with a small white head. Aroma is of a solid hop with your usual pine and grapefruit. Flavor is a very clean american west coast hop with a few malts in there for balance. Its about time someone made a Sierra Nevada APA clone. Another well made beer by this brewer and again the $4.99 price tag can’t be beat.

22 ounce bottle from Wine Warehouse in Charlottesville. Pours a clear amber color with a large head. Good head retention and lacing. Very nice looking beer. Citrus hop notes dominate the aroma with some caramel maltiness. Taste is citrus hops primarily with a malty caramel finish. Full bodied. Fairly simple and straightforward, but very tasty, satisfying and well crafted. Well done.
