sample at Crown & Goose, Knoxville, TN pours black, mocha head. aroma and taste, roasted malts, with hints of lactic sweetness, some caramel. abv seems a little warming and hints to some chocolate and coffee. Simple, yet a fine dry stout.

Pours black, with a long lasting thick tan head. Roasty aroma, cocoa powder, bitter chocolate. The flavor is chocolate and roast malt delivered on a smooth dry palate. Enough roast malt bitterness to keep this from being a sweet, hard to drink stout. After a sample, we ordered a pitcher.
