From tap at Borefts ’15. Aroma of vegetables, onions, some carrots, more onions, some floral notes. Flavour is moderately bitter. Not my taste at all, far too vegetable heavy. I?ll give some points for audacity though.

Tap at Borefts 2015: Hazy amber colored brew with an slightly dry bitter taste, the hints where like an good old Dutch chickensoup. Nice to try an vegetatble beer.

Tap @ Borefts 2015. Amber color. Grassy hops and vegetable notes in the aroma and flavor. Soft fruit character. Below par from such a great brewery.

No head. Aroma is slightly sour-ish floral, yeast, flowers, orange, light malts, dried fruits, citrus, grass, weeds. Taste is slightly dry floral, weeds, hay, yeast, bark, wheat, grass, hay, flowers, spices. Medium bitterness, dry and slightly harsh mouthfeel. Fair enough.

Tap at HOTD as merely "saison." Copper color. Not very much head but prockly carbonation. Wildflowers, clove, honey, and lavender in the aroma. Flavor is sweet malt, it might be better if it were drier.

Borefts Beer Festival 7th edition day 1 25/09/2016. A hazed, milky orange coloured pour with no head. Aroma is woody, apricot, wheat. Flavour is composed of stale wheaty grains, apricot , bready grains, tangy finish. Palate is semi sweet moderate carbonation. Not a huge fan.

Draught @ 7th Borefts Beer Festival 2015, Brouwerij de Molen, Bodegraven, Netherlands. [ As Hair of the Dog Saison Mirepoix ].Unclear - hazy medium orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is light moderate malty, wheat, moderate yeasty, fruity, vegetables, yeast. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long duration, yeast, fruity, vegetales. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20150925]

From tap. Pours hazy orange with a small white hea. Aroma is veggie, fruity. Veggie, light herbal. Toasted and mild bitter. Dry and toasted finish.

[9/25/15] Draught sample at Borefts Beer Festival 2015 in Bodegraven. Cloudy orange. Aroma of spice, onion, carrot, fruitiness. Sweetish and slightly tart flavor with spice and vegetables. Medium-bodied.

Keg at BBF 7, Bodegraven, 25/09/15. Hazed orange with little in the way of a head. Nose is straw, lime juice, white pepper, citric peel, spice. Taste comprises citric zip, more lime, spice, light bread, yeast, bitter orange, hay bale, tropical fruit shreds. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent saison.
