Bottle. Cloudy brown with a moderate off-white head. Resinous hop and light caramel malt aroma. Flavor is caramel malt (not overly sweet), spice, something slightly tart and fruity, and a light bitter finish. Medium bodied with a little carbonation.

tap at 800 Degrees - Pours amber with a one finger head. Smells of caramel malt and spice. The flavor is sweet caramel malt with nicely balanced hops presence. It’s medium bodied and enjoyable.

Bottle: Pours a cloudy rusty brown color with a mountain of creamy nutmeg colored head. Lots of sticky lacing. Nice balanced aroma is hoppy, citrus and florals, with a modest bready malt. Lightly vinous. A wet hop type mouthful is flavored with florals and bready malt. More light vinous notes, but mostly a floral hop taste. Lingering florals bitters are lightly bitter. Retains a smooth balanced feel throughout. Not to shabby.

12oz shorty bottle. Thick red-brown color with a steady beige-ish head. I really have a hard time accurately describing this one. It’s not that it’s so unique, it’s more that it captures so many flavors. Thick and rich, with some amber malt and other thicker specialty malt tones. Almost tastes spiced, not unlike a Pumpkin beer in an odd way. Fruity ale yeast notes couple well with these tastes certainly. Solidly hopped, with a nice bitter warming aftertaste.

Draught, Poured medium brown with medium white head. Sprucey aroma, with some citrus. Medium flavour, with caramel, nutty and a few hoppy notes. Medium finish.

Bottle pours out a dark amber topped with a long lasting creamy sand head. Aroma of christmass trees and fresh baked treats for Santa. Taste is of pine needles but not all that bitter. lots of sweetness and malts to calm it down. A little spice to make it just right. Pretty good.

Cloudy amber beer - earthy, fruity nose, with some juicy melon rind and cherry, indicating almost nothing about what the flavor will bring - taste is herbal and hoppy up front, followed by some biscuity malt, gingerbread - some earthy, almost oxidized character, and a touch of acidity - in this beer, the prematurely aged thing kind of works, though - a touch of tartness, followed by warming spices and peppery hops in the finish - a lot more full and warming than you would expect, considering the abv - I like it, but the aroma needs work.

Bottle 35,5 cl. Clear amber golden with a dense, off-white head. Medium body, burned caramel and roasted malt in both nose and flavour, perhaps a little pumpernickel also. Subdued bitterness. 100709

12 fl oz bottle. Pours cloudy brown with a small off-white head. Roasted malt aroma, vague fruity note. Light perfumy hops flavour to the roasted caramel malt. Light acidic roastedness and bitter hops flavour into the finish.
