Brewed in the classic London style, our fall seasonal ale is rich and nutty tasting. Brewed with Carapils, Pale, Amber and Chocolate malts, English Northdown hops and East Kent Goldings for a well rounded, smooth finish.

This tastes like they tried to make a clone of Newcastle, but messed up. I see the brown, but where is the "nut" part? It certainly isn''t in the flavor. There''s some maltiness to it, but the flavor is pretty weak. This finish is thin and watery.

Dark reddish brown with medium head. Darker than i expected for a Nut Brown - almost the color of a lighter porter. Sweetish chocolatey aroma, with some herbal hop presence. Flavor is sweet and chocolatey up front, but lingers like a dry stout: dry, roasted, almost astringent. Medium bodied and can serve as a session beer.
