Bottle at home. Aroma of dark malt, hint of roast, hint of coffee, hint of liquorice. Flavour is light sweet with a light to moderate bitter finish. Body is light, weak, watery. Feels unfinished, unstable. Not impressed.

Bottle. Deep brown colour with a mediumsized foamy off-white head, which also leaves some lace. Aroma is nutty, some roasted, dried fruity and coffeeish tones. Flavour is bready, some herbal, mild nutty and toasted tones with a bit ashes as well.

33cl bottle. Dark brown pour with a medium height beige head. Metallic aroma, dark fruit, roasted malts, dark cherries and a bit of coffee. Not that bad, but nothing our of the ordinary. Medium to high carbonation and a refreshing feel.

Bottle @ home. Dark brown to black colour with a medium sized beige to light brown head. Smells roasty, iron, floral, slightly soapy. Tastes liquorice, quite sweet, slightly caramel, slightly roasty, slightly coffee, floral and slightly soapy. I like the roastyness (but it?s kinda weak) and dislike the floral/soapy aspect. Thin to medium body, soft carbo.

Bottle shared at chriso’s Post-GBBF Shindig 2014 - London. Pours clear amber with a big, thick tan head. Light tangy berries, mild infection, some earth. Light in body with lively carbonation. Finishes with some leafy bitterness and tart berry fruits. The infection has taken hold. Shame.

Bottle shared at Chriso’s post GBBF minidig, 16/08/14. Clear mahogany brown with a good sized khaki head. Nose is light soap, bitter dark fruits, fruit jam, light roast. Taste comprises lactic notes, dark fruit rinse, earthy tones, faint cocoa. Medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, semi drying close. Not great tbh, passable at best.
