A combination of five hops gives this beer an intense hop flavour and aroma, with citrus, fruit and pine characters. The hop assault is balanced by a higher alcohol level and a firm, lingering bitterness. A seriously tasty beer for those in search of a lupulin fix!

From a 500ml can on 14//2019 (shared with Butz). Pours a clear dark golden with a biggish head. Has a slightly dank fruit aroma. Flavour wise, it's primarily sweet citrus and stone fruit, a bit biscuit malt and some moderate hops. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Decent, drinkable but unremarkable.

Can. Amber with a white head that's soon a fat coat. Aroma of sweet tropical fruit, oranges, sticky bread crust, pine. 7- Medium bodied, nice carbonation is just on the low side of medium. Sweet but somewhat resinous bitterness soon counters. Some toffee as well as bready notes, some tropical and citrus fruit but pine is most to the fore. I'd have liked a drier finish but this is nice enough.

On tap at the Gertrude Hotel, pours a cloudy golden orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out some resinous hops, candied sugar and some stone fruits. Flavour is decently integrated, with piney and resinous hop, some stone fruits and light residual sweetness. Not overly well-integrated but it's reasonably done. Fairly mild for an IPA. Solid.
