Keg at Brewdog Shepherds Bush, London. A black coloured pour with a medium beige head on top. Rich, malty, chocolate, vanilla aroma. Tastes rich, malty, chocolate, vanilla, caramel. Velvety smooth Imperial Stout. The Danes know how to make world class Imperial stouts and this was quite exquisite.

Tap @ Fermentoren, Aarhus fødselsdagsfest. Nice head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are rich chocolate, coffee, roast malt, hops and has a nice long bitter finish.

Keg @ BBB. Black pour with a small dark mocha head. Heavy chocolate nose with roast, raisins & chocolate covered cherries. Very complex with balanced leather, dark dried fruits & high quality chocolate. No barrel treatment but shows signs of fine aging. Sweet, bitter, malty & roasty taste. Round, velvety, tiny astringent & tiny boozy mouthfeel. This impressed me a lot. Amazingly complex chocolate impy. Plenty of cracks.

Black with thin head. Aroma is packed full of sweet malts. Also a bit earthy. Flavour is plentiful in its bittersweet chocolatey malts. Rich and oily.

From tap. Pours pitch black with a quickly gone head. Aroma is chocolate, dark malty and roasted. Lingering caramelish and toffee. Chocolate bitter. Dry and roasted dark malty far finish.

Tap@Fermentoren, Copenhagen - black pour with tan head. Aroma and taste is sweet chocolate and caramel malty action, sweet almost cake like, fudge, caramel, toffee, brown sugar, sweet but this works well for me, nice.

Tap @ Fermentoren, Aarhus. Black with a lasting light brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, chocolate, vanilla and cocoa. Flavor is very sweet and rather bitter. Very sweet and moderate bitter finish with a little warming alcohol. Oily and soft. Might have been even better if it had been less unbalanced, but still a really good beer. 010317

Draught @ Fermentoren, Aarhus. Pours pitch black with a creamy brown head, lacings. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate cake, rich dark chocolate, little coffee, cocoa. Flavor is sweet, light bitter, rich malty, caramel, coffee, rich chocolate, chocolate cake, little licorice, alcohol. Medium to full body, oily mouthfeel, average carbonation, sweet and rather bitter finish. 010317

Tap @ Fermentoren Aarhus, 11%. Black with medium light brown head. Aroma is roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, milk chocolate, dark fruit, berries and floral. Flavour is roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, floral, sweet, dusty, dark fruits, berries, vanilla and medium bitter.
