A refreshing, aromatic aperitif, Orleans Herbal has delicate apple flavor and white floral, honey, and anise notes. Serve chilled as is, over ice with a twist of lime, or use it in cocktails.

Pours a lovely clear gold from a bottle. Very interesting herbal nose, definite anise and light basil notes. Very dry and herbal, somewhat like a sweet light vermouth. Pretty good cider.

Bottle bought through Eden. Pours clear deep golden leaving some oily legs on the glass with a swirl. Smell is fruity and herbal with tart apples, basil, oregano, rosemary, minerals, lemon peal and alcohol. Taste is tiny sour, slightly bitter, fruity and herbal. Mouthfeel is dry, slightly tart, tiny astringent, boozy and medium bodied. Finish is sour and slightly bitter with tart apples, savoury bitter green herbs, hay, minerals, lemon peal and alcohol. Very dry and very strong. Kinda hard to muster. Tried it with lime like it was recommended on the bottle which really managed to bring the herbs, fruit and alcohol together. Solid, but not what you’d expect. --- Beer merged from original tick of Orleans Herbal on 28 Aug 2016 at 00:43 - Score: 7. Original review text: Kräftskiva. Aperitif.

On-site @ Eden: Light yellow. A little sediment. Smells like a salad. Lots of herbs. Clover, pepper, intense. Juniper berry, honey, light Apple. This has a lot of flavor. It’s actually unique and very good I’m a fan.
