Poured from a 750 ml bottle. Aroma is fruity with a fairly strong grape note as well as some grape must. Medium light caramel with lighter toasted bread. Some light red wine notes with hints of oak. Medium light acidity with some notes of tart cherries and under ripe plums and berries. Pours a somewhat murky, auburn brown with large, fairly thick, frothy, dark tan head that recedes fairly quickly. No lacing and small legs. Flavor is moderately acidic with moderately string grape and wine notes. Some light citrus, cherry, berry and plum notes, but its mostly grape and grape must. Some medium caramel notes with lighter toasted bread and a touch of toffee. Hints of the alcohol. More sweetness as the beer warms. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and medium low alcohol warmth. Overall, a pretty nice grape sour, but not an amazing one. I think the malt profile does a pretty nice job of working with the grape character. Acidity is a bit sharp, but not too bad.

Bottle courtesy of milsem. Pours murky brownish red with a small reddish white head that leaves a very small trace on the glass while quickly dissipating. Smell is malty, slightly fruity, tiny earthy and tiny funky with dark bread, caramel, lemon juice, dark grapes, moist hay, dry soil, minerals, leather, barnyard, grapeskins and lemon zest. Taste is very tiny sweet, sour, malty, slightly fruity and tiny funky. Mouthfeel is slightly dry, tart, mouth-puckering, tiny throat-burning and medium bodied. Finish sour with bready malts, red berries, leather and funk. Solid sour but perhaps a tad bit too sour for me and no offering much in complexity.
Malty sour with prominent dark grape character. Bit too sour and a bit too throat burning. Solid US sour.

Sample at the taproom. Hazy reddish-orange color with a medium off-white head that diminishes gradually to a film. Stringy lacing. Aroma of vinous oak, tart fruit and malt. Medium body with a red whine character with notes of earthy yeast and malt. The finish is moderately tart with an oaky wine aftertaste. Pretty good all around.
