Keg @ Haket. Pours clear pale golden with a small offwhite head that leaves some sparse trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is fruity and tiny spicy with crackers, pears, banana, hay, dry soil, white pepper corns and lemon zest. Taste is sweet, slightly bitter, fruity and slightly spicy. Finish is sweet and slightly bitter with plenty of round fruity eaters and allspice / white pepper spices. Solid but a bit sweet and a bit too heavy on the fruity esters. --- Beer merged from original tick of B023 - Belgian Ale on 29 Feb 2016 at 21:11 - Score: 7. Original review text: Fairly heavy on the fruity esters with suiting spicy phenols. Solid but a bit too strong and fruity for me.
