Bottle courtesy of summer Euro-Santa. Thank you! Pours hazy golden with a frothy white head that leaves a small trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is tiny fruity and slightly grassy with crackers, white bread, grapefruit juice, mango, moist grass, pine needles, frozen green peas, lemon zest and hints of cardboard. Taste is sweet, bitter and grassy. Mouthfeel is round, astringent and medium bodied. Finish is tiny sweet and bitter with crackers, grapefruit juice, freshly cut grass, pine needles, minerals and lemon zest. Smells and tastes like home brew that’s starting to get old. Grass, peas and cardboard but perhaps this bottle is starting to get old and hasn’t aged with grace. Surprised with the current high ratings. Got my hopes up for nothing. --- Beer merged from original tick of Lost Horse on 26 Jul 2015 at 00:58 - Score: 5
