Swing top? But? Thin amber. Nose is waxy. Malt. Tomato? Not good. Nope. Bad. Soapy and thin. No. 5 2 3 1 7

Sample during Blarney Wine Festival 2019 on 03/16/2019. Clear dark copper color with a medium light beige head that recedes steadily to an outer ring. Patchy lacing. Aroma of oak, whiskey, fruit and malt. Medium to full body with flavors of rye whiskey, oak, raisin and caramel. The finish is spicy rye and fruit. Pretty good overall.

Woodshed 3.0! Sample courtesy of gkost, thanks Gary!! Yes. The green waxed bottle pours with a deep copper body that supports a tan head of foam. The aroma offers up apricot and citrus mixed with plum like fruity esters flowing into pine hops and smooth vanilla, coconut and whiskey. OK. Nice. The taste delivers smooth bourbon booze, some molasses and brown sugar sweetened pine hops. It then picks up apricot, wafer thin sweet soft citrus and then plum like fruity esters. This is a nice smooth brew with plenty of depth and interest.

Bottle courtesy of tkrjukoff. Pours hazy reddish brown with a frothy and fizzy goldenish beige head that quickly dissipates while leaving a small trace on the glass. Smell is sweet and malty with caramel, toffee, charred wood, vanilla fudge, shredded coconut, hay, raisins, prunes, leather, cereal and biscuits. Taste is sweet, bitter and malty with toasted malts, caramel, toffee, grapefruit rinds, charred wood, lemon peal, raisins, biscuits, leather, burnt sugar and toasted coconut. Mouthfeel is soft, viscous, tiny astringent and medium to full bodied. Finish is sweet, bitter and malty with caramel, toffee, grapefruit rinds, charred wood, raisins, burnt sugar, vanilla fudge and lemon peal. Decadent tasty barley wine.Originally entered under the wrong beer. We had the green wax version...
