(Draught at Man in the Moon, Stockholm, 11 Jan 2014) Amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Fruity, malty nose with notes of citrus, orange peel, grapefruit, resin and caramel. Fruity, malty taste with citrus, grapefruit, citrus peel, resin, caramel and a generous citric bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with balanced sweetness. Solid and well made IPA with an impressive hop character. Very nice.

Draught @ The rover. Pours hazy amberish copper with a frothy offwhite head that slowly dissipates while leaving some thick lacing on the glass. Smell is fruity, herbal and floral with biscuits, crackers, grapefruit juice, winegums, melon rinds, leek, freshly cut grass, pine needles, lemon zest and orange peal. Taste is bitter, fruity and herbal with crackers, biscuits, grapefruit juice, lemony soap, melon rinds, pine needles, freshly cut grass, leek, chives, bread, moist soil, dried apricots, black currant leaves and hints of alcohol and frozen peas. Mouthfeel is round, dry, astringent and medium bodied. Finish is bitter with bread, grapefruit juice, grass, pine, chives, leek, melon rinds, moist soil, resinous wood and hints of alcohol, frozen peas and black currant leaves. Too much onion to suit my tastes. Not as crisp and refreshing as the Little Brother Pale Ale which I guess was expected. The rather heavy oniony IPA that leaves us with is nothing I’d jump through hoops to try again.
