Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver
Cloudy red color, hibiscus color, no head. Moderately fruity, lightly spicy, a bit flowery.
Ok beer, I don’t get the purpose anyway.

Hazy pink. Thin head. Has light hibiscus nose. Has a light hibiscus character, kind of yeasty, low bitterness. Actually doesn’t compel.

On tap at St Augustine's, pours a cloudy ruby red with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of hibiscus upfront, followed by raspberries and light Belgian yeast. Flavour is big on the hibiscus upfront, followed by raspberries, Belgian yeast and lemongrass. Unusual blend of flavours that works pretty well. Solid.

Draft - Nice flowery and herbal notes. Clear copper with a small head. Light flowery sweetness with a caramel. Solid.

On tap at St. Augustines on Rare Beer Tap Takeover. Aroma is sweety-sour, hibiscus. Same taste, which is more intense, than aroma, with some spices. Good.

750 ml bottle received as an extra in a trade. Thank you Adnielsen! Pours tiny hazy pinkish golden with a creamy white head that slowly dissipates while leaving lots of trace and lacing on the glass. Smell is slightly sour, fruity and herbal with crackers, hibiscus, lemon juice, grape juice, rose water, unripe strawberries, cloves, cilantro, lemon balm, barnyard and orange zest. Taste is sour, fruity and herbal with crackers, white bread, lemon juice, white grapes, damsons, lemon zest, orange zest, pink grapefruit juice, heavy hibiscus, barnyard, red currants, strawberries, hay, crushed raspberries, tamarind, grapefruit rinds, dry soil and wood. Mouthfeel is slightly dry, fruity tart, tiny round, cloves and medium bodied. Finish is slightly sour and fruity with crackers, hibiscus, strawberries, hay, barnyard, lemon zest, cloves, pepper corns and dry soil.

Bottle thanks to a trade! Pours a clear ruby pink with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of hibiscus with flora and light fruit backed by a bit of Belgian yeast. Flavor is similar with hibiscus that is joined by light fruit and finishes with a perfumey note of floral and Belgian yeast.

Hazy raspberry colored pour - subtle nose of tart fruit skins and a tiny bit of spiciness - flavor has a lot more going on - tart, nearly sour, with moderate hibiscus and rose hip-ish acidity - earthy, nearly funky raspberry skin notes - peppery character on the tail end - lingering, dry, lightly tannic, mildly funky finish - quite good.

Tap @ Funkwerks. Light pinkish appearance with an off white head that’s just gorgeous. Quite floral, hibiscus, somewhat citrusy, light berry, a touch spicy aroma. Pretty tame flavor with notes of spices, yeast, straw, strawberries, light citrus, and flowers.

Aroma of yeast, light spicy, citruss, raspberries. Taste is yeasty, fruity, flowers, grass, raspberries and other sweet fruit. Medium body, lively carbonation. Rather sweet, but nice beer. 270212
