Sample @ SMÖF (2012). Well rounded barley wine with notes of vegtables and butter. Nice warming alcohol. A good british style barley wine.

Draught (SMÖF 2013) - Copper with a slight haze. Caramel, dried fruit, malt and leather in the aroma. Fruity and slightly sweet taste with raisins, sultanas, nuts and biscuity malt detected. Very nice. It has aged very well and could probably get even better with a bit more time.

Draught at SMÖF. Hazy copper colour, small head. Aroma of treacle and dark berries. Sweet and soft with full body. Caramelly with notes of vanilla and hay. Mildly warming finish. Well balanced.

Sample @ SMÖF 2012. Pours clear amber with a small bubbly brownish beige head that quickly diussipates while leaving a small trace on the glass. Smell is sweet and malty with sweet white bread, honey, clover flowers, hay, sweet peas, alcohol, dried blue flowers, figs, cereal and flower nectar. Taste is sweet, bitter, tiny sour, fruity and malty with sweet dark bread, alcohol, wood, caramel, toffee, tropical fruit hard candy, figs, grass and lemon zest. Mouthfeel is round, tiny sticky sweet, tiny boozy and medium bodied. Finish is sweet and tiny bitter with sweet dark bread, alcohol, honey, lemon zest, sweet peas, grass and flower nectar.
