330ml Bottle (Bishops Arms, Sundsvall) - Amber with a small head. Grapefruit, peach, biscuity malt and toffee in the aroma. Moderately bitter and hoppy taste with grapefruit, dried apricot and some slightly metallic notes.

Bottled at SMÖF. Clear amber, small head. Aroma of smoke and wood. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Some honey, susprisingly slight hoppiness. More smoke than wood. Mid bitter finish. Not quite what I expected, and not really up to the same high standard as the beers I tasted in Härnösand in the summer.

Sample @ SMÖF 2012. Pours very hazy brownish golden with a frothy and bubbly offwhite head that slowly dissipates that slowly dissipates while leaving lots of sticky trace on the glass. Smell is sweet, tiny sour and malty with dark bread, resinous wood, cereal, oily pine, lemon zest and orange zest. Taste is tiny sweet, bitter and sour with dark bread, resinous wood, rubber, lemon juice, grapefruit rinds, oily pine, moist soil and compost. Mouthfeel is tart, astringent, tiny dry and light to medium bodied. Finish is sour and bitter with grapefruit rinds, lemon juice, dark bread, resinous wood, grass and pine. Vile and most likely very infected.
