Cloudy dark amber color, compact head. Some aroma of malt and bourbon. Good body strength, smooth mouthfeel, sweet malt flavor, nice bourbon oak character. Low bitterness, and some alcohol.
Not bad.

Bottle @ Willems Grobbendonk, Belgium. Pours hazy golden with a creamy white head and lacings. Yeast and spices. Coriander, mild anis and honey. Smooth and full bodied with a fine bitterness. Very balanced. Well made.

(bottle) Cloudy, orange-golden colour with a big and slightly off-white foamy head. Slightly sugary (cara-)malty aroma with hints of marzipan, mildly citric fruity notes and a touch of human sweat (cumin ?). Moderately sweet flavour, almost full body feel with a rather calm carbonation. Slightly buttery (cara-)malty taste with spicy hints and very subtle fruity notes; slightly alcoholic and hop bitter finish, again with spicy/sweaty notes. Interesting but not for everyday use. 27.III.12

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours golden with a slight haze and a lacing white head. Interesting spicy and woody nose. Solid body, a sweet fruitiness, subtle spices and again some wood, oak and vanilla - even whiskey. Heavy boozy finish. Lovely. 230212

Hazy yellow, lots of yeast particles, small head. Smells sweet, not fresh and peppery. Tastes weird, sweet and herbal. Good carbo, medium body.
