Pours hazy gold into a tulip. Bright white head with good retention recedes leaving spot lacing to coat surface. Oatmeal and summer fruit aromas. Sweet, creamy marshmallow and sourdough upfront turning to peach and apricot before the lasting warming peppery yeast finish.

Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver
Murky orange-blond color with small head. Some aroma of Brett and wood, light herbs. Muddy mouthfeel, with light residual sweetness, some funkiness, very light fruity touch, but also an incredible amount of yeast that pollutes the mouth and leads into a very unpleasant bitter final.
Unpleasant.

Bottle, no. 3467. Pours light golden, with an enormous, very slowly receding, creamy head. Aroma is sweet spicy yeast and kandi, as well as floral and wooden notes. Creamy body, with soft carbonation. Flavour is dry Belgian yeast, with wood, kandi, and juniper like herbal notes, as well as some nice malty notes of cereals. Dry wooden finish.

This beer pours a cloudy pale yellow color with a thick fluffy white head that diminishes gradually. Patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of herbal yeast, tropical fruit, wheat and malt. Medium body with flavors of floral yeast, citrus, pineapple and malt. The finish is fruity yeast with a touch of herbal hops in the aftertaste. Solid beer all around.

Tap @ BeerTemple, small sample. Slight hazy yellow color, medium white head. Aroma of some pineapple, citrus, slight spicy yeast, bit funk, slight bubblegum. Soft sweet in taste, quite creamy texture, soft bitterness. Not as dry as you would expect, but with lots of creamy flavor; tap could have helped witht this. Dangerously easy going.

Threes Brewing, Brooklyn tap: Pours light orange with a small white head. Aroma is brett (or so I thought), honey, and fruitiness. Taste is lightly earthy and a bit sweet. Quite complex when it comes down to it. Good combination of juicy sweetness with earthiness. I liked it.
