The beer is an oddly bright coppery orange. There’s a reddish, pinkish hue to it, particularly evident on the small head. It seems to be rather clear, which I didn’t expect. The aroma has a very nice sour quality. Cranberry is just a bit much, and a tiny touch of cough syrup comes out from the sweetness of the fruit. Otherwise, the beer has a very nice funky, fruity sour aroma. Very mild malt note. Light oak. The taste does not live up to the aroma for me. It’s sharply acidic. There’s also too much sweetness and more of that fruit cough syrup flavoring to it. It just has a funny sweet and sour character that I don’t particularly like. It tastes like someone put a funny fruit syrup in a strongly acidic but decent sour. The sharp bite and lingering sweetness drown out the initial bright fruit and funk/oak complexity. Mouthfeel is a bit sticky with a sharp vinegar acidity in the back of the throat. Just doesn’t work for me.

Bottle thanks to Rainer. Pours a clear red orange with small off white head. The aroma is strong cranberry and oak. Medium mouth, jammy cranberry, nice sourness, light wood, really enjoyed this.

Poured from a 12 oz bottle. Aroma is fruity with a nice cranberry character. Some light acidic notes with faint malt character. Pours a fairly clear, pinkish orange with a small, moderately thick, slightly pink head that recedes fairly quickly to a small film on top and thicker along the edges. Flavor has a slight sweetness balanced with a medium light acidity. Moderate cranberry notes. Juicy like other New Glarus fruit beers. Faint malt notes and low bitterness. Mouthfeel is medium light bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a very tasty, easy drinking beer, but it is not much like a lambic. Clean, acidity but not really any funkiness. Nice fruit notes.

Bottle with thanks to bauermj! Pours hazy orange amber with a medium beige creamy head that lasts well and leaves nice lacing. Aroma is strong cranberry, not much else. Flavor is medium sweet, very fruity, some oak, light tartness in there as well, but its hard to tell if that is a natural product of the cranberries or from open air fermentation. Minimal acidity. Full rich body, yummy. Another winner from NG!

Slightly hazy golden colour, white head. Aroma of fruit, candy, cranberry, sugar and spicy notes. Light sweet flavour, light sour touch, somewhat funky, cranberry and red berries. Sour fruity finish, apple and cranberry.
It still feels very fresh, even though it is an aged bottle. Nice and pleasant, not feeling like a lambic (it doesn’t need to be) but a fine sour ale.
(1234, I do like Feist. From 33cL bottle shared @ ZZT V. Thumbprint series. Obtained through trade with atxdelivery. Thanks!!)

Refrigerated 12 oz. bottle from FlandersNed poured into a white wine glass. Pours translucent amber with red hue. Little lacing, medium body, low carbonation, and light cranberry aroma and some oak. Taste is nice tart cranberry. I bet this would be even better fresher.
