Stillwater IPA? WTF, right? Well truth be told we love a good IPA just as much as the next guy and besides, whats more contemporary then a American IPA? The lean base of Pilsner malt with the lightest touch of caramel support this high definition blend of 5 different hops gathered from all over the world. Bright citrus, stone fruit, pine, earth, dank, and crisp.

Copper coloured body with a thinnish, two centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of bright grassy and grapefruity hops and a bit of a malt and caramel note as well. Medium-bodied; Strong hop flavours at first give way to a good deal of grassy/herbal/perfumey malt notes and a lot of yeast. Aftertaste shows more of the hops, leaving the palate a bit better off from the malt - a little lighter at the end than at first. Overall, a good IPA, but nothing groundbreaking, nor challenging to the West Coast at all. Definitely not worth searching out - the Surround is much better and this is ho-hum. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased yesterday on 18-June-2015 from Whole Foods (Bowery) in New York, New York for US$2,99 sampled a day later in my hotel room here in the LES of New York on 19-June-2015.

Keg at the 4th Copenhagen Beer Celebration, Session I, 01/05/2015. Golden blonde with a decent off white covering. Nose is melon, citric peel, straw, tangerine. Taste comprises bitter citric peel, tangerine, light balsa wood, straw, lemon jus. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a trace of hops. Ok IPA, prefer more hops though.

Thanks for sharing! Sampled 330 ml. bottle @ Leuven Innovation Beer Festival. Amber, little white head. Nose is onion, garlic & light exotic fruit hops,… Taste is caramel, malt, onion & garlic hops, malty, rye bread, herbal, tad sugary,… Overly malty & same for body. Not bad but feels like I am missing something.

Due to artificial coloured illumination, appearance not estimable, arbitrary 4/5 Ureum, citric hops, bit of cheese, hopoils. Wry bitterish, if quite fruity and blossom-y, lunaria. Medium bodied, bit slick. Palate remains slightly wry. Well... least one can say it is OK.
