Bottle @ home. Almost opaque dark brown color, full sized light brown head that lasts for a long time. Aroma is malts, light roast, a light hint of chocolate and some red fruit which should be the raspberry. Taste malts, a nice light touch of chocolate in the initial flavor, then the raspberry slightly tart flavor comes through together with a very subtle hint of pepper. Decent to medium body, decent to medium carbonation. Solid beer for sure.

Bottle from het Biermoment, BB 13 Nov 2017, large sample. Dark color, medium frothy brown head. Aroma has some fruity notes, roast, fresh grinded black pepper, bit coffee, lactic strawberry milkshake. Bit sour fruity notes in taste, spicy black pepper, roast and coffee. Aroma is lovely, but taste seems to go a bit all the way around and the flavors have a hard time balancing out and mixing together. Very interesting, nice experiment, but needs some work.

33cl bottle. Pitch black pour, high carbonation and a tall espresso head with poor retention. Smells of roasted malts, bitter hops, dark chocolate and dark cherries. Bitter chocolate taste, with a slight sourness underneath, and saltiness, with notes of roasted grains and smoke.

Sweet roasted malts, choco, hops, light fruitiness, pepper, melasse, coffecandy. Quite sweet & a little spicy w/a bitter finish, hint of sour lingering through aswell. Body is full, texture is heavy, thick. Really nice but was hoping for more raspberry!

33cl Bottle at Jopen Proeflokaal Waarderpolder. My bottle had an Oedipus label. Almost black colour, beige head. Aroma of tart raspberries, some coffee, roasted malt, hint of toffee. Flavour is light sweet, tart, raspberries, dry, coffee, hint of black peppercorns, some toffee, quite dry bitter finish. Light to medium bodied. Lacks a bit of sweetness imho.
