Het Meesterstuk van 2015 is er een Collaboration geweest tussen twee Jopenbrouwers. Robbert Uyleman en Tom Provo hebben samen een Imperial Porter gebrouwen, waar ze als bijzonderheid Engelse Drop in hebben verwerkt. Het bier heeft de geroosterde tonen van de donkere mout met een (laurier)dropachtige smaak en ook wat subtiele tonen van kokos.

Aroma of malts, toffee, lots of liquorice, light coffee, brown sugar. Flavour is heavy sweet with a light bitter finish. Decent, but a bit too sweet and cloying for my taste.

Bottle. Black, opague. Malt, roast, caramel and salt in the aroma and flavor. Sweet, sticky, licorice and coconut in the aftertaste. Decent.

Clear dark red brown color with a large, frothy - creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, dark malt, sweet malt, light chocolate, moderate alcohol, moderate to heavy yeasty, belgium yeast, dried fruit, fruity yeast. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, dark malt, dried fruit, dried dark fruit, licorice, belgium yeast, fruity yeast, alcohol. 33cl bottle @ Vaasa. Pours pretty much black in color with a dense light brown head. Aroma has dark fruits, plums, molasses. Roasted malty flavor, quite sweet, some licorice, spicy notes. Finishes spicy. Full bodied. Nice warming sipper.

Bottled. Black colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is liquorice, alcohol, toffee and some slight spices. Flavour is liquorice, smoked notes, mild toffee and some alcohol. Wellbalanced.

33cl bottle. Pours very dark brown colour with a mid-sized creamy good lasting brownish head. Aroma of dark roasted malt, red fruits, grapes, coffee. Taste of dark intense roasted malt, red fruits, wood, grapes, coffee, many alcohol in the finish.

Loads of licorice! Salty. Could be smoother, with softer mouthfeel. Little bit too much carbonation. +.25 for the extreme licoriceness.
