Tap @ Borefts 2013. Amber color. Peach, overripe fruit and lots of honey in the aroma. Honey in the sweet floral flavor. Hints of aquavit. Too sweet for me.

An amber beer with an orangey head. The aroma has notes of honey, malt, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of honey, malt, and caramel, leading to a dry finish.

Draught at CBC 2014. Hazy copper liquid with a small to medium tan head. Aroma of spices, honey, licorice, juniper and bread. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with notes of honey and juniper. Medium bodied with no carbonation. Pretty mead-esque and peculiar, but tasty.

Keg at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Hazy mahogany colour, small head. Unsurprisingly honey and akvavit dominate the nose. Sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel with honey stickiness. Summer flowers, mostly yarrow. Light toasty malt. Slight akvavit warmth in the finish. Mellow and interesting.

On tap @ Borefts 2013. This is a cloudy deep raw amber colored one with a nice medium sized heavy lacing beige top. Quite good looking actually. Smells of sweet caramel with a buck-load of heather honey! It's almost a little overwhelming to be honest. The same in the taste added a shipload of toothpaste mint. I actually really enjoy this, it's really strange but still quite good. Honey infused stuff with tootphastemint. Sounds like a strange combo but it somehow works. Sweet and sticky in the mouth with a near non present carbonation lavel. Yeah, it's really enjoyable stuff this. 27.09.2013
