It has a vinous, relatively sweet taste. Chokeberry juice and spices added during its fermentation lend to its interesting flavours. This type of mead is produced from honey mash created by mixing 1 part honey with 2 parts water. It needs to mature for about 2 years. It contains 13% alcohol.

Bottle. Clear golden color with no head. Aroma is honey, maybe a dash aronia, just berries, wouldn't guess aronia. Taste is the same, solid honey, vineous. Oily mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Tasty!

A pour from 750ml bottle (thx, Alex!). Vintage 2009. Pours a clear pale copper with no head. Aroma is honey, raisin, barrel notes. Taste is the same, very sweet with woody notes. A bit dry. Nice one.

Poured a tan-brown color. The aroma was faint holiday spices and medicine. The flavor was tannin, almost astringent, medicinal, herbal and boozy. Long medicinal finish. Moderately full bodied.

750mL bottle, pours a clear copper, a few bubbles worth of head. Nose is thick, with treacle toffee, bees wax, and wildflower honey. Flavour is decadent, with lots of wildflower honey, treacle, and light vanilla beans. Complex and wonderfully balanced. Lovely.

750ml bottle pours out a honey color topped with no head. Nose is big honey sweetness some spice. Taste is more of the nice honey sweetness big spice.

Bottle from Carrefour, Lodz. Clear amber without head. Aroma is sweet, honey, caramel and light spicy. Flavor is very sweet. Sweet finish with warming alcohol. Oily. 151116
