Bottle 2020, 11.5% Black with brown head. Aroma is roasted malt, chocolate, coffee, oak and caramel. Flavour is roasted malt, chocolate, coffee, sweet, caramel, espresso, sweet, warming, oak, liquorice and medium bitter.

330ml bottle. Pours pitch black with a tan head. Aroma of coffee, dark chocolate. Taste is sweet, dark chocolate, strong bitter coffee, roasted malts, hint of liquorice, very well balanced, slightly warming alcohol. Full bodied, smooth. Superb coffee stout.

Bottle from Best of Beers. Black with a brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, chocolate, heavy coffee and light wood. Flavor is quite sweet and rather bitter. Dry and rather bitter finish with warming alcohol. Oily. 030720

Aus der Flasche (Vintage 2020) im 2020-05 getrunken. Auch dieses Stout von Nerdbrewing überrascht mit seinen dunkelbraune, feinporige Schaumkrone. In der Nase und später auch am Gaumen dominiert eine volle Schokolodennote mit einer leichten Mokkanote dahinter. Im Antrug kommt kurz ein fruchtiges Aroma auf und geht dann in eine leichte grüne Paprikanote über. Auch wieder ein tolles Stout.

Bottle. Pours black with a small tan head. Lots of chunky lacings. Aromas of peppery coffee, some weird pant-like note, boiled vegetables, soy. Taste has peppery acidic coffee, dusty notes, liquorice, over-extracted coffee-like fruity notes, light malty dry finish. Infected.

Bottle at Craigs. Pours black, nose is vanilla, caramel, orange, chocolate, taste is sugary sweet, roasted, coffee, oak, fruity.

Draft. A black beer with a brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, alcohol, and coffee. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, alcohol, and coffee, leading to a dry roasted finish.
Incredibly rich & smooth. Very sweet but doesn’t come off as cloying. Bitterness in he finish is perhaps a bit high but that’s no biggie.

375ml bottle. Pours pitch black with a smooth head. Aroma of roasty malts, coffee, cocoa, mocha, espresso, vanilla and bourbon. Taste is sweet, syrupy and roasty with some coffee, licorice, espresso, mocha, chocolate and vanilla. Finish is sweet, sticky and syrupy with some roastiness, vanilla, toffee, coffee and chocolate. Quite sweet, but tasty.
