Backlog. Can shared by MJ. Black with a brief tan head. Chocolate, roasted coffee, some bourbon heat. A little bit of nuttiness too but mostly sweet, decadent chocolate.

(355ml can from the Mikkeller and Friends Bottle Shop, Copenhagen) Pours black with a little tan ring. Chocolate and roasted malt body with some prominent toffee sweetness up front, a fair amount of earthy fruity coffee and nutty notes in the middle helping to dry things out, bourbon is quite present and building into the finish which is warm with alcohol, bitter with coffee and nuts and dried down by the wood. Medium-full slick oily body with very soft carbonation, very smooth if admittedly rather big and boozy business. Liked this one.

Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, vanilla, bourbon, almonds, chocolate, coffee, dark malt, alcohol.
