Translates to Friends Forever and is a collaboration brewed with one of our closest and dearest friends, Brad Clark of Jackie O's Pub and Brewery in Athens, Ohio. Our shared love of vibrant fruit mixed with our cultures was the inspiration for this wild ale. Fermented in Oak with a blend of cultures from Missouri and Ohio, this Missouri/Ohio Wild ale was then aged on Apricots and Mangoes before being blended and naturally conditioned in the bottle

Blend #1 750mL drunk 6/28/24. Clear, honey-amber-bronze. Small, off-white head to spotty cover. Very mellow with with mild fruit. Citrusy acids with honey and wheat. Moderate Brett and mild lactic. Not aggressive, no alcohol. Oaky, hint of vanilla oxidation. Citrusy with moderate lactic acid and plentiful stone fruit. Medium-light bodied, quite attenuated. Possibly over attenuated at this point, but not thin. Juicy finish with vanilla, bit of bready tannin and lingering acid.

Hazy pale. Some sticky lacing. Aroma is funky wild and spritzy. Lemon, fresh, and spring flowers. Mouthfeel is dull yet lightly and very wild and spritzy. Tartness lingers and dries out the palate. Grapefruit zest, citrus run amok. Very nice for a small and with sour grapefruit skins tartness beer.

Nice gueuze-esque acidity with plenty of tropical fruit funk. High yet well received acidity. Very nice!

Bottle thanks to John. Pours a cloudy orange with small white head that lasts. The aroma is strong stone fruit, oak, lemon zest, floral. Thin body, juicy, strong mango, apricot, light oak, nice tartness, light acidity, enjoyed this.

Bottle, by way of a trade with b3shine. Cheers Beau. Hazy, dirty gold. No head. Nose has loads of mango and apricot. Fresh cut oak. Some lactic like twang. Bit of an apricot yoghurt vibe going on. Some gluey, rubbery notes in the background, although not to any particular detriment. Taste is dry, tart, and slightly sour. Some salinity. Super clean, cleansing mouthfeel. Fine carbonation. Lightly acidic, fruity and tangy finish. For the record, the missus, who doesn’t particularly like sour / wild beers, would give this an easy 4.2. Who knew.
