Aroma of malt, lapsang souchong tea, smoke, grassy hops. Flavour is moderate sweet with a medium bitter finish. Really enjoyable use of smoke and tea.

Dark brown colour with lasting head. Aroma and flavour have plenty of sweet malts. Slight chocolate bitterness. Delicate smokiness from the tea. Absolutely not overpowering. Decent body too.

Bottle. Deep dark brown color. Woody aroma with lapsang souchong. Malty sweetish woody flavor. Tarry with lapsang souchong tea. Hint of caramel. Grassy hops. Nice.

Draught @ Kaapse BAF, [ Borefts After Beer Festival 2015. ] @ Kaapse Brouwers, Veerlaan 19D, Rotterdam, Netherlands 3072 AN. [ As Ramses Bier Huismoeder ].Clear medium brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, dark malt, spicy, thyme. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, thyme, spicy, smoked, roasted, dark malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20150927]

Bottle@Tuesday Taphouse Bottle Share, Copenhagen - Dark brown verging black pour with if beige head. Aroma and taste is meaty, malty with some medium strength smokey nuance throughout, slight burnt notes, char, earthy, malty finish.
