Balt mjöd – Bovete ger en helt svart honung med lite mörka, men syrliga toner och doft av stall. Inslag av bovete är så frekvent i både baltisk och polsk mjöd att det likt hög sötma, nästan är del av identiteten för östeuropeiska mjöd. Denna högst unika dryck är dock torr, gjord i Sverige, samt mousserande.

(Bottle, Stockholm Beer & Whisky Festival, 28 Sep 2019) Golden colour with no head. Fruity, slightly sourish nose with honey, flowers and sweaty training clothes. Fruity, tart taste with notes of honey, flowers, citrus and sweat. More than medium body, quite dry. Tart and sweaty, different but quite tasty. Quite nice.
