Small slightly bubbly-creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet, dark sugar, raisins, mild bourbon, grass, vanilla, toffee, oak, caramel malts, nuts, weeds, candied sugar. Taste is slightly dry oaky, bourbon, oak, burnt caramel, candied sugar, grass, weeds, raisins, nuts, toffee bark. Medium bitterness, dry boozy mouthfeel. Fair enough.

Very hazy dirty brown color. Tons of oak, bourbon, marshmallows, peacan, brown sugar, burnt raisins in the nose. Really amazing. Very sweet mouth, tons of bourbon, tons of brown sugar, raisins, super smooth. Slightly boozy but alsochol is well hidden. Amazing

Bottle thanks to Torrey bottle 133 of 744. Barley wine tasting 2018. Copper colored pour with a small tan head. Malty aroma with some nice boozy barrel notes. Sweet malts up front in the taste, wood barrel, vanilla. Well rounded

Bottle thanks to Torrey bottle 133 of 744. I have been wanting to have this for years. Pours out copper amber color with a sand head. Nose is nice sweet malts barrel kick and some vanilla. Taste is more of the nice sweet malts pit fruit caramel barrel kick and vanilla.

Draft. An amber beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of wood, caramel, and fruits. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, alcohol, bourbon, and wood, leading to a dry finish.

2015 bottle. Pours a cloudy copper with medium beige head that lasts. The aroma is candy sugar, wood, bourbon, vanilla. Medium body, very sweet, candy sugar and vanilla, nice bourbon, very nice.

Draught sample at Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2015. Murky deep amber liquid with small to medium off-white head. Aroma of dried fruit, vanilla, bourbon and raw sugar. Taste is medium sweet and medium bitter with notes of dried fruit and bourbon. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Great stuff.

Draught@CBC2015. Hazy coppery brown colour with a mediumsized off-white head. Aroma is sweet malts, mild ripe fruits, raisins, oak, a bit toffee and some alcohol as well. Flavour is wooden, sweet malts, mild toasted and toffeeish notes as well as some raisins, plum, mild alcohol and a nice fruity touch to it.
