Nice slightly fizzy-creamy mediumlasting head, deep dark pour. Aroma is slightly dry sour-ish roasted, marshmallows, oak, bourbon, minerals, bark, dark sugar, vanilla, sour dark berries, maple, dark malts. Taste is slightly sweet mineraly, marshmallows, lactose, dark sugar, oak, vanilla, bourbon, minerals, bark, dark malts, maple, booze, caramel. Medium bitterness, sweet boozy mouthfeel. Nice enough.

MBCC. Black with a light brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, light cough syrup, wood and bourbon. Flavor is very sweet and rather bitter. Dry and rather bitter finish with heavy alcohol. Boozy and oily. 110518

MBCC 2018. Yellow. Keg. A Theydon Bois whip cracking power rate. Semi opaque dark brown beer, small pale tan head. Lovely smooth rich dark chocolate with zero bitterness. Great smooth fruity bourbon. Pinch of spice. Wow! So smooth, rich and fruity and just luxuriant.

Draught @ MBCC 2018. Pours black with a brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, quite sweet, caramel, maple, dark chocolate, wood, oak, light vanilla, bourbon. Flavor is sweet, roast malty, caramel, maple, oak, vanilla, whisky, some alcohol. Medium to full body, soft carbanation, sweet finish with warming alcohol. 110518

Draught @ mbcc 2018. Poured pitch black with a thin brown head. Chocolate cake, nutty notes, vanilla, sweetness in aroma. Flavor has massive dark chocolate, coffee, roastedness, some mild burn and sweetness. Nutty finish.
