We have many friends all over the world. In Poland, we were introdused to an almost forgotten traditional aromatic hop called Iunga. We even met the hop farmer -nice guy! But surley we should not brew the beer just ourselves. Michal Saks from AleBrowar in Poland voluntered to come to Norway and together we brewed this fantastic IPA.

Very hazy amber beer, tidy cream coloured head. Palate is semi dry and minerally crisp. Light thin malts, whisper of mild sweetness. Floralness, mildly bitter. Hop skunk and mellow hop spice. Little grapefruit. Light semi dry finish. Not the most vibrant of IPAs but quite drinkable.

Bottle shared by dEnk. Slightly hazy yellow to orange color, medium sized white head. Smell and taste malts, lightly fruity, some fruit hops and moderately bitter. Medium body and carbonation. Hmm decent IPA but not extremely good. Nice though.

Nice creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly dry foresty, moss, forest floor, pine needles, bark, citrus, leafs, fresh hops, lawn, hay, rubber. Taste is slightly dry mineraly, leafs, moss, bark, citrus, hops, pine needles, hop pellets, fresh wood, citrus peel, lemongrass. Medium bitterness, slightly dry foresty mouthfeel. Very balanced, and lacks all the harsh / merical notes in the taste that similar beers usually has. Very nice!

Flaske på Cardinal, M2 okt-14: uklar gylden med kort skum ,men det interessante her er den særpregede aroma og smak som må komme fra den obskure polske humlen som er brukt: lime, pærer, krydder og solvarm sykkelslange. En ny og spennende ølopplevelse. Ettersmaken er en slags overmoden citrus. Må definitivt prøves igjen.

Aroma is quite mellow with some fruity tones. Flavour has apricot, minerals, some grapefruit and hints of gooseberry bush. Finishes with lingering hops. Not the perfect hop for me, but not bad still.
