Tap @ Borefts 2013. Dark brown color. Honeyaroma. Honey flavor with caramel and leathery notes. Sticky sweet, the brett still has lots of work to do.

Tap at Kaapse Brouwers. Very dark brown with minimal head. Lots of honey and spices, sugar, vanilla, cream, herb candy, light sour black currant and blueberry. Really sweet. Really weird stuff but actually not bad.

Porter with brett and with honey. Bit too much honey for my taste. The first sips are nice, but after that it’s hard to digest. The vanilla is nice, but the honey is a bit too dominant.

On tap @ Borefts 2013. It's as good as black in the glass this one, and it had a nice medium sized lacing dark beige top. On the nose I get a sweet licorice tone along with a little bit of acidity. It's much more sweet than sour on the nose. Also a trace of chocolate paper. It's really really confectionery chocolate infused in the taste. About average on the near creamy carbonation and we'll thick and oily in the mouth. Lots of chocolate and dark coffee in the taste also. Surprisingly sweet and the dark confectionary chocolate lingers for a long time in the aftertaste. I kinda like this even if it's definitely on the sweet side of the porterscale this. 28.09.2013

28.09.2013, tap @ Borefts:
Small creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly neutral, dark malts, cocoa, hay, coffee, puffed rice, unripe banana, hints of sulfur maybe. Taste is sweet, dark malts, dark sugar, mocha, caramel, puffed rice, unripe banana, hints of burnt coffee. Medium bitterness, thin body. Fair enough, just too sweet.
